Who We Are

This website is operated by Nitin Agarwal, Founder of Contiqa For Tax Consultancies L.L.C S.O.C, a company registered in Al Fahidi, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Technology and delivery support may be provided by its affiliate, Contiqa Systems Private Limited, incorporated and registered in Guwahati, Assam, India. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy mean Nitin Agarwal, Contiqa For Tax Consultancies L.L.C S.O.C, and, where applicable, Contiqa Systems Private Limited, collectively.

What Data We Collect and How

We collect personal data through three routes on this website:

• Newsletter subscription form: When you subscribe to our newsletter or intelligence brief, we collect your email address.
• Contact and enquiry form: When you submit an enquiry through the Contact page or book a call, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message.
• Careers@Contiqa job application form: When you apply for a role through our Careers page, we collect your name, email address, phone number, LinkedIn profile URL, current location, current employer and title, years of experience, qualification, notice period, expected salary, a breakdown of your current compensation (basic, cash allowances, other benefits and annual bonus), visa status (where relevant), a cover note, your responses to a short screening quiz (including an automatically calculated score), and your CV — both as an uploaded file and as extracted text, so it can be searched and reviewed.

We do not collect any data passively beyond standard server logs maintained by our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or behavioural analytics tools.

Why We Collect It — Our Purpose

We collect your personal data for one primary purpose: to contact you with information about the books, courses, frameworks, consulting services, AI tools, and other offerings published or provided by Nitin Agarwal and Contiqa Systems, and to solicit your business in connection with those offerings.

Specifically, we may use your data to:

• Send you the newsletter or intelligence brief you subscribed to;
• Send you updates about new publications, course availability, frameworks, and AI tools;
• Contact you about consulting and advisory services offered by Contiqa Systems;
• Respond to enquiries you have submitted through the Contact page;
• Send you information about events, speaking engagements, or media appearances; and
• Generally communicate with you about matters relevant to the subject matter of this website.

If you apply for a role through Careers@Contiqa, we use your data specifically to: evaluate your application against the role you applied for; contact you about your application and, where relevant, other open or future roles; and maintain records of our recruitment process. A member of our team always makes the final decision on any application — the automated screening quiz score is one input we consider, not an automated decision on its own. The application form includes a separate, optional checkbox to also subscribe to our newsletter — this is a distinct opt-in from your application consent, and applicants who tick it are tagged internally as "job application" subscribers so we know how they joined.

We will not use your data for any purpose materially different from the above without informing you first.

Legal Basis for Processing

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies — including for visitors from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom — our legal basis for processing your personal data is your consent, given when you voluntarily submit your information through our forms. You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us directly.

For job applications specifically, we rely on your consent, given by ticking the consent checkbox on the application form, and — separately — our legitimate interest in evaluating candidates for open roles and our need to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract with you, where an offer of employment results.

For visitors from the United Arab Emirates, processing is conducted in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL). For individuals in India, processing is conducted in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act).

Your Consent — Opt-In

We operate on an opt-in basis. We will only send you marketing communications if you have actively consented to receive them — either by subscribing to our newsletter or by ticking the consent checkbox on our Contact form. We do not add people to marketing lists without their explicit prior consent.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by:

• Clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send you (handled automatically by Kit); or
• Emailing us directly at info@contiqasystems.com and requesting removal.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew it.

Third Parties We Share Data With

We use the following third-party service providers who may process your personal data on our behalf:

• Kit — newsletter and email delivery platform. Your email address is stored and processed by Kit to deliver the newsletter you subscribed to. Kit's privacy policy is available at kit.com.
• Cal.com — appointment booking platform. If you book a call, your name and email are processed by Cal.com to facilitate the booking. Cal.com's privacy policy is available at cal.com.
• Cloudflare — website hosting and content delivery. Cloudflare processes standard server log data as part of hosting this website. Cloudflare's privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com.
• Supabase — database and file storage for job applications submitted through Careers@Contiqa. Your application data and CV are stored by Supabase in a private database and storage bucket, accessible only to Contiqa Systems. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com.

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise transfer your personal data to any other third party.

International Data Transfers

Our third-party service providers — Kit and Cloudflare — are based in the United States. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or the UAE, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, which has different data protection standards to your home jurisdiction.

Job application data submitted through Careers@Contiqa, including CVs, is stored using Supabase in a data centre located in India. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with data localisation or cross-border transfer requirements, your application data will be transferred to and processed in India, which has different data protection standards to your home jurisdiction.

Where such transfers occur, they are governed by appropriate safeguards, including your explicit consent obtained at the point of application, and, where applicable, Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms with our service providers. By submitting your data through this website, you acknowledge and consent to this transfer.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioural analytics tools. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary functional cookies to deliver the website securely and efficiently. These cookies do not track your browsing activity across other websites and are not used for marketing purposes. No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies under applicable law.

Children

This website is not directed at persons under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal data through this website, please contact us immediately at info@contiqasystems.com and we will delete it promptly.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above. If you unsubscribe from our newsletter, your email address will be removed from our active mailing list. Job application data, including your CV, is retained for up to 12 months from the date of your application, including for consideration for future roles, after which it is deleted unless you have separately consented to a longer period. If you request deletion of your data, we will delete it within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain it.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you;
• Request correction of inaccurate data;
• Request deletion of your data;
• Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time; and
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted with an updated date below. Continued use of this website or continued subscription to our communications following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
